OCEAN DIVING TOURS

Ocean Dives in the Caribbean
Since we are located in the Yucatan Channel we will always have some steady, northerly current that will drift us gently past the reef, so it’s easy to relax and enjoy the view as the scenery moves by.
The Caribbean ocean provides us with great diving for divers of all levels. With comfortable temperatures ranging from 23-30°C / 59-86F (depending on the season) and visibility generally between 15-30 m / 65-98 ft (depending of the weather conditions) makes it perfect for inexperienced divers to get comfortable quick or advanced divers to probe the depths.

Diving in Playa Del Carmen
The Caribbean ocean affords a great biodiversity and biomass and we can find large congregations of turtles in this area all year round, from hawksbill, green sea and loggerheads turtles. We also have a great variety of Moray Eels, from Giant Green Moray Eels to tiny little Golden Moray Eels, it is not uncommon to spot at least a half dozen on a single dive. Great big schools of fish swimming gracefully around the reefs are the norm. Grunts, Jacks, Angelfish, Sargent Majors watching over their nests, Blue Tangs and huge Pufferfish are just some of the many things that we see everyday. The sand flats sites are great places to see Rays, including Southern Stingrays, Whiptail Stingrays, Spotted Eagle Rays and Yellow Stingrays.
In the shallow reefs you can find Cleaner Shrimps, Mantis Shrimps, Wrasses and Myriad. The deeper reefs are where we usually spot the big pelagic animals. Along the outer edge of the reefs, on the continental shelf, we can sometimes spot Marlin, Sailfish, Tiger and Bull Sharks.
About the tour
We offer 2 tanks per tour and 2 tours per day. In the morning the boat leaves at 8:30 AM or in the afternoon at 12:30 PM. We get the boat from Martina Beach and we have over a dozen sites all within a 10-15 minute boat ride.

Diving in Cozumel
The island of Cozumel is very famous for its underwater world and is considered to be one of the top dive destinations in the world, and for good reason. The impressive drop-offs and the amazing hard and soft coral formations found in this diver’s paradise make this trip an unforgettable one. We advice divers to have a good amount of experience and to feel comfortable in the water as the currents can at times be quite strong. Some of the famous sites are San Francisco, Palancar, Santa Rosa wall and Las Palmas.
About the tour
We meet at 8:00 AM and after we've taken care of all necessary paperwork (Medical Statement and Liability Release), I'll drive to Martina Beach to take the boat that will depart between 8:30-8:40 AM and will take us to Cozumel for approximately 40 minutes. In Cozumel, we will be doing 2 dives with a surface interval between them and then the boat will take us back to Playa Del Carmen at around 1:30 PM
